Key Responsibilities
- Baking & Production: Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and cakes, ensuring each product meets Universal Bakers’ high standards of quality and consistency.
- Quality Control: Maintain strict attention to detail to ensure products are consistently of the highest quality.
- Workplace Organization: Keep your work area clean, tidy, and well-organized, following health and safety guidelines.
- Inventory & Supply Management: Assist with managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the smooth running of production.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with the team to develop new recipes and products that will appeal to our customers.
- Production Efficiency: Maintain a steady pace of production while ensuring all products are accurately made and baked in large volumes.
Requirements
- Baking Experience: Previous experience in a baking or production baking role is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided to candidates with the right attitude and general experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience with bread ingredient mixing and hand molding is required.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products consistently.
- Work Schedule: Must be able to work early mornings and weekends to meet production needs.
- Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other bakers and production staff.
