Key Responsibilities
Depot Gate and Stores Management
As the Gate and Stores Controller, you will oversee the management and maintenance of depot gates and stores, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You will be responsible for organizing traffic flow and managing construction waste documentation to keep processes on track.
Logistics and Inventory Coordination
A key responsibility will be coordinating logistics and inventory management. This includes tracking and overseeing supplies and materials to ensure everything is in place for daily operations.
Safety Protocols Implementation
Your role will also involve ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a secure working environment for all staff. You will be responsible for conducting safety checks and promoting a culture of safety on-site.
Team Collaboration
You’ll collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to streamline operations and facilitate communication across departments. Your ability to work effectively within a team will be critical to maintaining efficiency and productivity at the depot.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Postgraduate or A-Level qualification (preferred).
- A valid driving license and driving experience are essential for site-related tasks.
Skills and Experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with both internal teams and external partners.
- Experience in store management or inventory control (at least 1 year preferred).
- Familiarity with logistics and site management procedures.
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
Desirable Certifications
- CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
