Key Responsibilities:
As a Personal Carer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility support and encourage physical activities to promote independence.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and personal preferences.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and monitor clients’ health conditions to ensure proper care.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote their well-being.
- Behavior Management: Implement strategies to manage behavior for clients with specific care needs, such as dementia or Alzheimer’s.
- Health Monitoring: Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in health, behavior, or conditions to supervisors.
- Client Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments or social outings when necessary.
- Family Support: Offer respite care and emotional support to families during difficult times, providing peace of mind.

What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience: Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, home care, or related fields is highly desirable. Experience in specialized areas such as dementia care or hospice care is an advantage.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Licensing: A valid UK driving licence is preferred, as some client transport may be required.
- Medical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic medical terminology is beneficial, but not mandatory.
- Caring Attitude: A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and enhancing their quality of life.
