Salary: N200,000 – N250,000 per month

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, managing recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict resolution skills, proficiency in HRIS software, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Development: Create and implement essential HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Budget Management: Prepare monthly and annual budgets for management consideration.
  • Training Needs Assessment: Conduct periodic assessments to determine training requirements and improve performance and productivity.
  • Employee Development: Develop strategies for employee development and succession planning to meet future business needs.
  • Employee Relations: Use effective strategies to manage workplace issues and disciplinary matters.Recruitment: Oversee recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes to meet workforce demands.Performance Monitoring: Develop departmental goals, objectives, and systems, and monitor staff performance and attendance activities.Compensation Planning: Develop strategic compensation plans, align performance systems with the compensation structure, and implement group health care benefits.
  • Well-being and Safety: Ensure the overall well-being of employees and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordination: Liaise with Heads of Business Units for effective coordination of activities.
  • Policy Review: Review and update HR policies and procedures for staff and supervisors.
  • Support: Provide information and assistance to staff and supervisors on HR and work-related issues.
  • Job Structure Maintenance: Update job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Project Reporting: Supervise and report on HR projects.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: B.Sc. Degree or HND in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in Human Resource Management or related fields.
  • Professional Membership: Membership in HR professional bodies such as CIPM, CIPD, or SHRM.
  • Certification: Professional Certification in Human Resource Management.

Skills:

  • Conflict Resolution/Crisis Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS software
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities
