Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair Mobile Devices: Address a variety of mobile phone issues such as screen damage, battery problems, software malfunctions, charging issues, and more.
- Perform Hardware Repairs: Complete repairs including screen replacements, battery swaps, motherboard fixes, camera replacements, and other component-level repairs.
- Troubleshoot Software & Hardware Issues: Ensure full functionality of devices by resolving software glitches, hardware malfunctions, and performance issues.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous post-repair testing to confirm that all devices meet high operational standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, time spent, and issues resolved.
- Customer Communication: Provide clear, concise updates to customers regarding repair status and expected completion times.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work with other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues and streamline repair processes.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, mobile technology advancements, and new repair tools and techniques.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that repairs are performed in a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Mobile Phone Repair Experience: Proven expertise in both hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mobile components (e.g., motherboards, screens, batteries, charging ports).
- Brand Familiarity: Experience with popular mobile brands such as Apple, Samsung, Huawei, and others.
- Repair Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using repair tools like soldering irons, screen separation machines, and diagnostic software.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide high-quality repairs.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical clients.
- Work Efficiency: Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mobile repairs are a plus.
Desirable Skills
- Advanced Repair Techniques: Experience with software flashing, data recovery, and other advanced mobile repair methods.
- Repair Management Systems: Familiarity with mobile repair tracking software and management systems.
