We are currently recruiting for Reablement Support Workers and Home Carers to provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes. Whether you’re interested in providing temporary reablement care to those recovering from illness or injury or offering long-term homecare services, we have opportunities for you to make a real impact.


Reablement Support Worker Role

Salary: £24,027 – £24,404 pro rata per annum
Hours: 16, 20, and 25 hours per week, with various shift patterns available
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on personal care to service users in their own homes, supporting them with daily living tasks and activities.
  • Encourage individuals to regain their independence by promoting self-sufficiency and autonomy.
  • Help facilitate safe hospital discharges and ensure timely transitions.
  • Assist service users with physical tasks like manual handling (training provided).
  • Work within a team-oriented environment, emphasizing independence and empowerment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and provide accurate documentation of care plans and progress.

Qualifications

  • Manual handling experience is desirable but not essential—training will be provided.
  • A current driving licence and use of a vehicle are essential to travel between service users’ homes.
  • No prior experience in the field is required as full training is provided.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Care is beneficial but not mandatory.

Home Carer Role

Salary: £24,027 – £24,404 pro rata per annum
Hours: Various shifts available
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver long-term, intensive care services to support individuals in their own homes.
  • Help service users maintain their independence and assist with tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with service users to enhance their quality of life.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of service users, including covering shifts and assisting in emergency situations.
  • Record and monitor care plans, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Care is preferred, but not mandatory—training will be provided.
  • Current driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for travel.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality person-centered care.
