- Position: Quality Manager

- Salary: £46,840 to £53,602 per annum
Join the South Wales Blood and Marrow Transplant (SWBMT) Programme as a Quality Manager and play a vital role in advancing cutting-edge therapies, including CAR-T therapy, while ensuring compliance with JACIE accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the SWBMT Programme.
- Ensure all activities align with regulatory and quality standards.
- Lead risk management initiatives across the programme.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to maintain a robust QMS.
- Address resource challenges and compliance issues within the service.
- Support audit processes, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections and external audits.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Master’s degree or relevant healthcare-related degree with equivalent experience in a regulatory/accreditation environment.
- Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
- Strong knowledge of internal controls such as risk management, document control, and change control.
Desirable:
- Post-graduate qualification in quality or related subject.
- Quality Management certification.
- Membership in a professional body.
- Knowledge of validation and verification processes.
Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in quality management within a healthcare support service.
- Familiarity with incident management, root cause analysis, and audits.
Desirable:
- Experience with electronic QMS and user feedback analysis.
- Participating in regulatory inspections and external audits.
