Key Responsibilities
1. Building Relationships & Communication

Attend Departmental Meetings: Regularly meet with different departments to understand their technology needs and keep them updated on IT developments.

Trusted Advisor Role: Act as the go-to advisor for IT services, ensuring departmental needs are understood and met.

Report on IT Trends: Highlight potential risks, opportunities, and trends to the IT leadership team, contributing to informed decision-making.
2. Service Delivery & Engagement

Facilitate IT Adoption: Ensure smooth adoption of IT systems and services across departments, providing the necessary training and support.

Address User Concerns: Work proactively to address departmental concerns, ensuring long-term solutions that enhance user satisfaction.

Communicate IT Changes: Regularly update staff on IT changes, ensuring that they are well-informed of upcoming modifications.
3. Project Involvement & Requirements Gathering

Translate Departmental Needs: Convert departmental needs into actionable IT service proposals and participate in solution design and implementation.

Workshops & Awareness Sessions: Conduct awareness workshops to ensure staff are well-informed about new IT services and strategies.

4. Customer Relationship & Best Practices

Customer Relationship Management: Maintain an updated CRM system to track and enhance customer relationships, providing ongoing support and feedback.

Benchmarking & Best Practices: Compare the university’s IT services against industry best practices, ensuring the department remains competitive and efficient.
