What We Offer
Guaranteed Hours & Competitive Pay
- Guaranteed 39 hours per week (no zero-hour contracts).
- Earn £12.10 per hour, including weekdays and weekends.
- Additional £2.10 per house visit (travel kept to a minimum).

Shift Patterns
We believe in stability and consistency. That’s why we offer a structured shift pattern:
- Full-time schedule: 39 guaranteed hours weekly.
- Mixed shifts: Morning, lunch, tea, and bedtime calls.
- One weekend off per month. On working weekends, full availability is required for all four shifts.
- Two days off weekly, with a set monthly rota for planning your personal time.
Key Responsibilities
As a Homecare Assistant, you’ll deliver high-quality care to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. Daily responsibilities include:
Client Care
- Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals at scheduled times.
- Supporting clients with mobility and exercise routines.
- Offering emotional support, fostering meaningful connections.
- Organizing recreational activities like social outings, shopping trips, and café visits.
Household Support
- Completing tasks like grocery shopping, laundry, and light cleaning.
- Administering and organizing medication schedules.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Maintaining detailed, accurate visit notes.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care outcomes.
Professionalism
- Acting as a positive ambassador for Avanti Homecare.
- Demonstrating empathy, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
Training and Development
We believe in empowering our team through continuous learning. Whether you’re new to care or have years of experience, we’ve got you covered:
- Induction Training: Learn the essentials of delivering exceptional care during your first week.
- Care Certificate: Complete this within your first three months.
- Advanced Training: Enhance your expertise with advanced courses on Dementia Care and End-of-Life Support.
- Annual Paid Training: After your first year, you’ll receive four paid training days to pursue topics of your choice, enabling you to take control of your professional growth.
Essential Requirements

- No prior experience required—training is provided!
- Willingness to learn and adapt to clients’ unique needs.
Driving Requirements
- A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are mandatory.
- You’ll support and drive to 13-15 clients per day.
