Your Role as a Home Care Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Promote Independence: Help clients with daily tasks while respecting their individual care plans.
- Maintain Safety: Keep clients’ homes safe and hazard-free.
- Emotional Support: Offer companionship and engage in meaningful interactions.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
Work Locations
You’ll provide care in clients’ homes across the local community, making a real impact in their daily lives.

Essential Qualities
- A genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals with care and compassion.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and strong team-working skills.
- Willingness to assist clients with various needs, including dementia care.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous care experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Driving License: A valid UK driving license and access to a car are required.
- PVG Certification: Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) certification (support provided if needed).
Schedule
All Care Workers follow a repeating two-week schedule:
- Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Week 2: Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
- Full-Time: On the rota for a full day.
- Part-Time: On the rota for half a day.
Care Workers are required to work every second weekend.
