Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at L&F Care Services Limited. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, helping them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Job Types & Pay

- Salary: From £12.00 per hour
- Expected Hours: 1 – 39 hours per week
- Schedule: Day shift, Night shift, Weekend availability
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting to promote dignity and independence.
- Mobility Support: Help clients move around safely and assist with transfers, ensuring their comfort and preventing injury.
- Meal Preparation: Assist with meal preparation, ensuring clients’ dietary needs are met, and supporting any specific dietary requirements.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment for clients.
- Care Plan Implementation: Follow detailed care plans provided by healthcare professionals, documenting any changes in the client’s condition.
- Effective Communication: Regularly update family members, healthcare providers, and team members on the client’s progress and needs.
- Transportation: Drive clients to appointments, social events, and other necessary activities.
- Mental and Emotional Support: Engage clients in meaningful activities and conversations to promote their mental and emotional well-being.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in home care or a related field preferred but not essential. Previous care experience is highly valued.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Care Plan Development: Ability to follow and contribute to the development of personalized care plans based on individual client needs.
- Driving: A valid UK driving license and access to a car is essential for driving clients to appointments and activities.
- Personal Traits: Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential for success in this role.
- IT Skills: Basic IT skills to maintain client records and communicate effectively with the team.
