Key Responsibilities as a Home Care Assistant

In your role as a Home Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care that enhances the quality of life for those who need it most. Your key duties will include:

Eligibility Requirements for Home Care Assistants

To be considered for this position, applicants should meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in care or nursing roles.

  • Recognized care qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or higher, or equivalent certifications.

2. Driving Requirements

  • A valid driving license is essential for this role. International driving licenses are accepted for the first 12 months.

  • You must have access to your own vehicle to travel between client locations.

3. Communication Skills
