Job Responsibilities
As a Home Care Assistant at Hadi Care, you will play an essential role in providing personalized care to our service users. Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing Personal Care
- Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene, to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Help with medication reminders and general health monitoring as needed.
Supporting Independent Living
- Enable clients to maintain their independence by assisting with mobility, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
- Provide companionship, engage clients in activities, and support them to remain active and socially connected.
Building Relationships with Clients
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients, ensuring they feel supported and understood.
- Provide consistent care by working with the same clients, which helps you to understand their individual needs and preferences.
Ensuring Client Safety and Wellbeing
- Monitor clients’ health, safety, and overall well-being while maintaining accurate care records.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure the client’s home environment is safe and comfortable.
General Support and Assistance
- Assist with other duties as required, such as helping clients with transportation to appointments or managing their household tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements
We are looking for compassionate individuals who are eager to provide high-quality care. While previous care experience is desirable, it is not mandatory as we offer full training. The key requirements for this role include:
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Driver’s license and access to a car is a must, as the role involves traveling between clients’ homes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings (4 PM – 11 PM) and alternative weekends.
- Must be located in or around Leeds.
- A caring attitude and the ability to treat clients as if they were your own family.
- The ability to speak English is required, and knowledge of Urdu or Punjabi is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- UK Driving Licence and access to your own car is required.
- Applicants must have or be willing to apply for a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) if applying for visa sponsorship.
