About the Role
Care South, a leading not-for-profit care provider, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to support clients in Crewkerne and surrounding areas. This role involves providing care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring they live with dignity and independence.
We are offering Tier 2 Sponsorship for eligible candidates. To qualify, you must:
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
- Have access to your own vehicle.
- Be currently living in or within a commutable distance of Crewkerne.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming) tailored to client needs.
- Support clients with meal preparation, medication, and domestic tasks.
- Assist clients with community visits, including shopping and leisure activities.
- Foster a positive and safe environment, reflecting Care South’s HEART values.
- Communicate effectively with the office team to address client needs.
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for care and a genuine desire to make a difference in clients’ lives.
- No prior experience needed — full training provided.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (with business insurance or willingness to obtain it).
- Flexibility to work shifts between 7 AM–2 PM and 4 PM–10 PM, including alternate weekends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
