Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide a range of clerical duties to ensure the smooth running of the Hospital @ Home Service, including data input, report generation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Clinical Assistance: Support the clinical team with delegated therapy duties, assisting with patient care as needed.
- Stock Management: Order and maintain stock levels, ensuring essential supplies are available for patient care.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Input data into spreadsheets and assist with audits, local reporting, and national reviews.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure that clinical areas remain clean and tidy to uphold health and safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with an integrated team to provide the best possible care for patients, both at home and in the hospital setting.
- Travel: Travel across Buckinghamshire to provide home-based care, requiring a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or social care environment is essential. Experience working in the NHS or with long-term conditions is desirable.
- Driving License: A current, valid UK driving license and access to a car is a must.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and the ability to listen and engage with patients and the clinical team.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in healthcare or related field.
- Knowledge of Integrated Team Care and experience with long-term conditions such as respiratory illnesses or pulmonary rehab.
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in using data management tools.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
