Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in direct patient care, supporting individuals undergoing surgical treatments and recovery.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring patients receive the best possible support and care.
  • Perform clinical tasks within your competencies under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring all observations and care provided are properly documented.
  • Promote physical health and well-being, contributing to patient recovery and comfort.
  • Follow care plans and protocols to maintain high healthcare standards.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Wales, ensuring compliance with NHS guidelines and best practices.
