Health Care Assistant – Key Responsibilities
As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include:

Personal Care Support: Assist clients with daily tasks such as washing, dressing, feeding, and providing mobility support to promote independence and dignity.

Medication Assistance: Help clients with medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper protocols are followed.

Social Engagement: Facilitate social activities that help enhance the well-being and mental health of clients, fostering a sense of community and support.

Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in the client’s health, ensuring any concerns are flagged to healthcare professionals in a timely manner.

Collaboration: Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to provide coordinated, holistic care.
Health Care Assistant – Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: At least one year of experience in a care or support role is desirable, with preference given to those with experience in mental health and complex care needs.

Personality: A caring, empathetic, and patient demeanor is essential to succeed in this role.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and colleagues.

Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Eligibility: Right to work in the UK, although sponsorship is available (subject to Home Office approval).

Senior Health Care Assistant – Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will oversee and guide the care provided by junior healthcare assistants. Your responsibilities will include:

Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of healthcare assistants, ensuring they adhere to care plans and provide quality care.

Care Planning: Assist in creating and following individual care plans to meet each client’s specific needs.

Clinical Tasks: Administer medication and perform clinical duties (subject to training and competency assessment).

Training and Mentoring: Support the development of junior staff through training and mentoring, ensuring they understand the best care practices.

Compliance: Ensure that all activities meet regulatory requirements and company standards, maintaining a high level of service quality.
Senior Health Care Assistant – Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years in a health and social care role, with a preference for experience in mental health and complex care needs.

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) is preferred.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to effectively guide junior staff.
