Position Overview

As a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker, you will be pivotal in delivering person-centred care, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people, and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. Key Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker at El Roi 3 Care Solutions, you will:
Provide Person-Centred Care

Offer high-quality care to children and young people with disabilities, complex needs, and behavioural challenges.

Support with personal care needs, including feeding, mobility, medication, and emotional well-being.

Maintain the dignity and independence of clients, ensuring their needs are met in a compassionate and respectful manner.
Follow and Contribute to Care Plans

Adhere to individual care plans and actively contribute to reviews under supervision.

Work closely with families and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that meets each individual’s specific needs.

Help encourage the participation of children and young people in social, leisure, and community-based activities.
Promote Safeguarding and Risk Management

Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed, promoting safety and well-being for every client.

Conduct risk assessments and take the necessary steps to mitigate any concerns, escalating issues as required.

Be proactive in identifying potential risks to health and safety, addressing them in a timely and professional manner.
Support Children and Young People with Complex Needs

Provide additional support to those with behavioural challenges, ensuring a stable and positive environment for their development.

Foster an atmosphere of encouragement and emotional support, helping children and young people navigate challenges and thrive.
Engage in Family Advocacy

Act as an advocate for service users, ensuring families are supported in maximizing the potential of their children.

Offer guidance and support to families, assisting them in navigating care plans and addressing any concerns they may have.

Previous experience working with children or young people with disabilities or complex needs will be advantageous.
Qualified or Willing to Obtain Qualifications

Minimum of GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Hold a Care Certificate or be willing to work towards it.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable, but not mandatory if you are willing to work towards it.

Up-to-date mandatory training, such as Basic Life Support, is required.
Eligible to Work in the UK

Applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK, or be eligible for a Skilled Worker visa.

Candidates must be willing to travel 100% of the time to support children and young people in various settings.
