Key Responsibilities of the Carer Role
As a Carer at Sylvian Care, your primary responsibilities will include:

Personal Care Support: Assist clients with personal care needs such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility.

Emotional and Mental Support: Provide companionship, mental support, and engage in social activities to promote emotional well-being.

Daily Living Assistance: Help clients with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and other domestic duties to maintain a comfortable home environment.

Health Monitoring: Maintain regular communication with clients and their families, and report any changes in their health or well-being to the appropriate supervisor.

Building Relationships: Foster meaningful connections with clients by understanding their individual needs and preferences, ensuring a high level of personalized care.
Qualifications and Experience
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals who:

Have a genuine passion for care and are motivated to improve the lives of others.

Possess a full driving license and have access to your own vehicle, as this role requires travel between client locations.

Have prior caregiving experience (preferred but not essential). If you don’t have experience, we offer comprehensive training to help you succeed in the role.

Are patient, compassionate, and reliable, with a strong desire to build lasting relationships with clients.

Are flexible with working hours, including weekend shifts as needed.
