Job Description
As a Full-Time Domiciliary Home Care Worker/Carer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering personalized care to individuals in their homes. We’re looking for dynamic, caring, and enthusiastic professionals who can thrive in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment, promoting clients’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in clients’ conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and family members to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Promote independence while respecting clients’ dignity and privacy.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in healthcare, domiciliary care, or related fields (1 year required).
- Full British Driving Licence.
- Compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel (100%).
Preferred:
- Certification or training in healthcare or caregiving courses.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
