Libertas Care, a family-run care provider in South Somerset, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Domiciliary Care and Support Worker to join our dedicated team. The role involves providing personal care and support to individuals in their own homes within the local area, with opportunities for both regular visits and live-in care. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality domiciliary care: Support clients with daily living activities, personal care, medication management, and companionship.
- Deliver care with compassion: Ensure clients feel safe, comfortable, and respected in their own homes.
- Maintain client records: Accurately document care provided and ensure timely communication with the care team.
- Support with mobility and rehabilitation: Assist clients with moving and handling and encourage independence where possible.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols: Comply with health and safety regulations, safeguarding protocols, and infection control procedures.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in domiciliary care or similar field (required).
- Driving Licence: Must have a full UK driving licence, experience driving in the UK, and access to a car with business insurance.
- Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Right to Work: Must currently reside in the UK. Visa switch available for eligible candidates.
