Key Responsibilities for the Full-Time Care Assistant

As a Full-Time Care Assistant at Three Clover Care, your role will include a variety of tasks that are centered around person-centered care for individuals in their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals as they transition from hospital to home, assisting them in regaining their independence and improving their overall well-being.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Home Visits: Provide care to service users in their homes according to their personalized care plans.
  • Personal Care Support: Assist with tasks such as bathing, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene.
  • Medication Management: Administer prescribed medication and monitor vital signs as part of the care routine.
  • Rehabilitation Assistance: Help with exercises and mobility activities designed to maximize independence.
  • Liaison with Health Professionals: Communicate with district nurses, doctors, and pharmacies to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Domestic Assistance: Provide light domestic support, including meal preparation and general housekeeping.

The overall goal of this role is to help individuals rehabilitate and maximize their potential, enabling them to lead more independent lives with dignity and support.


Working Hours and Pay

  • Shifts: The shifts are between 6:15 am – 10:00 pm, allowing for flexibility in your schedule.
  • Pay Rates: £12.50 – £14.50 per hour, based on experience and suitability for a junior or senior role.
  • Weekly Hours: You will be expected to work 37.5 – 40 hours per week, ensuring a steady income and work-life balance.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who are committed to providing compassionate care and have the following qualifications and experience:

Essential Requirements:

  • Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence and your own vehicle is required for this role, as you will be visiting clients in their homes.
  • Care Experience: At least 1 year of home care experience (preferred).
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and reporting.
  • Care Home Experience: Familiarity with care home environments and care protocols is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GCSE or equivalent education (preferred).
  • Experience in creating and implementing care plans.
