As a Foundation/Pre-Registration Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in supporting these services and learning the ins and outs of pharmacy operations, patient care, and NHS services.
Key Responsibilities
During your training at Jethros Healthcare Pharmacy, you will:
- Be actively involved in providing essential NHS services to patients.
- Learn about the dispensing process, medicines, and the services Pharmacists offer to the community.
- Receive hands-on training with a recognised programme (Propharmace) and gain experience in key areas of pharmacy practice.
- After the appropriate training, provide services such as Blood Pressure Testing, First Aid, and CPR training.
- Work alongside experienced professionals who will mentor and support your development as a pharmacist.
Skills & Qualifications Required
To apply for the Foundation Pharmacist position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Pharmacy Graduate from a UK University or OSPAP (Overseas Pharmacists Assessment Programme).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A customer-focused attitude with a friendly and approachable personality.
- Strong ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy and numeracy skills to ensure precise dispensing and patient safety.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure, managing deadlines effectively.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and maintain high standards of care.
