Key Responsibilities of a Female Domiciliary Care Worker
In this role, you will be at the forefront of supporting individuals in their own homes, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing Personal Care
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Provide mobility support to help clients move safely around their home
- Help with meal preparation to ensure proper nutrition for clients
2. Offering Companionship & Emotional Support
- Build meaningful relationships with clients based on trust and respect
- Encourage clients to maintain their independence and engage in social activities
- Offer emotional support, promoting mental well-being and a sense of dignity
3. Medication Management & Health Monitoring
- Assist clients with medication management, ensuring they take the right medication at the right time
- Monitor client health, identifying any changes and reporting concerns promptly
4. Documentation & Communication
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Effectively communicate with the care team and clients’ families to ensure the best care is provided
- Follow all company policies, health & safety regulations, and care procedures
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Must already reside in the UK
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Passion for providing care with a compassionate and patient approach
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as needed
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in care work is preferred but not required; we offer full training
- GCSE or equivalent qualification preferred
Additional Skills
- Ability to relocate to Kent if you are not currently in the area
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care
