Key Responsibilities of a Domiciliary Care Assistant
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by providing essential support in their own homes. Your responsibilities include:
1. Personal Care & Assistance
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting individuals with mobility needs and physical assistance as required
2. Companionship & Emotional Support
- Engaging clients in conversation and social activities to reduce isolation
- Offering companionship and encouragement to promote mental well-being
3. Meal Preparation & Household Support
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to clients’ dietary needs
- Assisting with light household tasks, including laundry and tidying
4. Medication & Health Monitoring
- Reminding clients to take prescribed medication on schedule
- Observing and reporting any health concerns to the appropriate professionals
5. Flexible & Reliable Care Delivery
- Working morning, evening, and weekend shifts as required
- Traveling between clients’ homes to ensure they receive quality care
Requirements for the Role
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a care assistant or domiciliary care role
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Currently residing in the UK with the right to work
- Genuine passion for patient-centered care
2. Preferred Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent educational background
- Experience in home care or community-based care

Work Schedule & Shifts
