Key Responsibilities
As a Female Carer, your duties will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Providing companionship and emotional support in a nurturing environment.
- Administering prescribed medication and monitoring clients’ health.
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences.
- Supporting mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social activities.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space.
- Offering specialized support for dementia care with patience and understanding.
- Encouraging mental and physical well-being through activities like exercise or hobbies.
- Administering first aid and ensuring safety protocols are followed when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Prior caregiving experience (e.g., home care or related roles) is highly desirable.
- License: A valid UK Driving License is essential.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and their families.
- Physical Ability: Capability to assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Dementia Care: Experience in dementia care is a plus.
- First Aid Knowledge: Basic knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial.
- Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
