Key Details
Shift Schedule:
- 2-Week Rota:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Hours:
- Morning: 07:00–14:00 –
- Evening: 16:00–22:30
- Pay: £13.50 per hour
- Mileage: £0.35 per mile
- Pay Schedule: Biweekly (every other Friday)
Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you will:
- Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Administer medication as prescribed. Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry and tidying.
- Escort clients to appointments or social activities.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the care team.
Requirements
- Residency: Must already reside in the UK on one of the following visas:
- Student, Graduate, or Dependent Visa.
- Must have at least 3 months remaining on the current visa.
- Driving Licence: Valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle (mandatory).
- Skills:
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Background: Must pass a DBS check and drug screening.
- Experience: Previous care experience preferred but not required.
