Key Responsibilities
As a Female Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients with various tasks. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with daily activities: Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and maintaining their personal hygiene.
- Providing companionship: Offer emotional support and engage in friendly conversation to improve clients’ emotional well-being.
- Administering medication: Ensure clients take prescribed medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Meal preparation: Assist clients with meal planning, preparation, and feeding to ensure nutritional needs are met.
- Housekeeping tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying up, and maintaining cleanliness in the home environment.
- Transporting clients: Escort clients to medical appointments, social activities, and other outings to promote social interaction and well-being.
- Monitoring health: Keep a close eye on clients’ health, behavior, and emotional state, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements for the Role
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Visa eligibility: You must be currently residing in the UK on one of the following visas: Student, Graduate, or Dependent Visa. Please note that we cannot consider applications from individuals on Skilled Worker Visas.
- Own car and valid driver’s license: This is a non-negotiable requirement, as you will need to travel to clients’ homes.
- High school diploma or equivalent: Required to ensure basic educational standards.
- Experience: Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in people’s lives.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Transportation: You must have reliable transportation to travel to various locations for client visits.
- Background check: You will be required to undergo an enhanced background check and drug screening for employment.
