The Faculty Support Team plays a pivotal role in supporting the Foundation and Secondary Care Specialty Schools (including Public Health and Dental). The team facilitates educator recruitment and development and collaborates with them to enhance training delivery for trainees and trainers.

Key Team Functions:
- Managing Curriculum Study Leave processes.
- Organizing events such as training courses, conferences, and meetings.
- Overseeing virtual learning platforms and Trust-based school administrators.
- Supporting Trainee Fellows and other faculty-related initiatives.
The Faculty Support Officer ensures the smooth execution of these functions, offering high-quality administrative and project management support. This role is based in Cambridge, East of England, with hybrid working options and occasional regional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Project and Administrative Leadership:
- Lead specified workstreams and school initiatives.
- Promote new initiatives within the East of England in collaboration with the Account Manager.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze project data and create actionable reports to support delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Medical Education Managers, Heads of Schools, and Training Programme Directors.
- Process Improvement:
- Review and streamline processes and policies for consistency within NHS England.
- Event Coordination:
- Plan and manage training courses, events, and activities as required.
- Team Collaboration:
- Share best practices within the team and contribute to continuous performance improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
