Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, wiring, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues or potential risks in plumbing and electrical systems.
- Perform welding tasks for pipe repairs or installations as needed.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices on job sites.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment during installations or repairs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in hand and power tools for plumbing and electrical tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for plumbing and electrical systems.
- Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment as part of daily duties.
- Valid commercial driving license (preferred).
- Certifications such as CSCS, City & Guilds, or equivalent are advantageous.
