We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team. Salary: £11.75 – £13.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed-term contract
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene needs.
- Meal Support: Prepare and serve meals, ensuring nutritional requirements are met.
- Medication Management: Administer oral and topical medications under supervision.
- Household Tasks: Handle grocery shopping, laundry, and other general housekeeping.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in light conversation.
- Appointments and Outings: Accompany service users to appointments and social outings.
- Recreational Activities: Organize and participate in activities to enhance well-being.
- Communication: Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure the best care plan.
- Risk Assessment: Assess and manage risks in line with company policies and government regulations.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of care experience (paid or unpaid).
- A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic IT skills for online documentation.
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available).
- Flexibility and availability to work various hours, including weekends.
