Job Title: Corporate Events – Manager / Senior Manager
Location: 100% Remote, Work from Anywhere
Salary: $80,000 – $150,000 Annually
The Role
As a key contributor to Veeva’s North America marketing team, the Corporate Events Manager/Senior Manager is primarily responsible for the logistics execution of large-scale internal and customer events within the U.S. This role focuses on event execution, operational contribution to day-to-day processes, budget management, and supporting the execution of tactics and activities. You will work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Event Planning and Logistics: Provide planning and logistical support for major customer conferences, internal field kickoff events, and other special programs.
- Execution: Ensure flawless execution, quality of service, and timely delivery of all necessary components and materials for each event.
- Planning and Prioritization: Conduct short- and long-range planning and proactive management of timelines and priorities.
- Cost Analysis: Develop YoY cost per head analysis against each program component and line of business/service offering for informed decision-making on event size and location.
- Event Management: Manage and execute major workstreams for events (hotels, F&B, registration, welcome reception, evening event, etc.).
- Sourcing: Support hotel and venue sourcing.
- Contracts: Manage event contracts in conjunction with Veeva’s legal team.
- Budget Management: Maintain budget, procurement, and invoice/expense tracking and reconciliation.
- Internal Communication: Coordinate internal communications related to events.
Requirements
- Manager: 5+ years in corporate events.
- Senior Manager: 8+ years in corporate events.
- Event Management: Experience managing large-scale (1,000+ attendees) world-class conferences with a focus on logistics in convention center venues.
- Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Program Management: Proven excellence in cross-team program management.
- Organization: Highly organized with superior attention to detail.
- Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Relationships: Proven ability to build relationships across teams and levels.
- Proactive: Self-starter, proactive, and critical thinker.
- Travel: Ability to travel 20-25%.

Compensation
- Base Pay: $80,000 – $150,000
