About the Role

As a Community Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals who require assistance with daily living activities, offering both practical and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Personalized Care: Assist clients with tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting while maintaining their dignity and comfort.
- Daily Living Support: Help clients with meal preparation, medication management, and household chores to promote their independence.
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful social interactions and provide emotional support to clients.
- Community Engagement: Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities, ensuring their safety and participation in community life.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in clients’ health, behavior, or needs to healthcare professionals and families.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate care records, documenting all services provided and relevant observations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Tier 2 Visa Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK under the Tier 2 visa scheme.
- Experience: Previous experience in home care, residential care, or community support roles.
- Compassion and Empathy: A genuine desire to improve the lives of others through quality care.
- Communication Skills: Ability to build trust and rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Understanding: Knowledge of the needs and challenges faced by individuals requiring care.
- Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work collaboratively and manage tasks autonomously.
- Training: Relevant certifications in health and social care, first aid, or manual handling (preferred but not required).
