About the Role
Join the Communications and Marketing Team at Aqua, part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation and delivery of innovative communication and marketing strategies. You’ll play a key role in shaping Aqua’s messaging, both online and offline, while engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including staff, customers, and media outlets.

Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Research, draft, and distribute high-quality publications for internal and external audiences, including trade and national media.
- Social Media Management: Plan, monitor, and respond to social media engagement while creating digital assets.
- Website Updates: Regularly update content on the Aqua website to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Publications: Lead the production of key Aqua publications in collaboration with design agencies and customers.
- Customer Support: Act as the primary contact for customer and media inquiries.
- Team Collaboration: Support Aqua’s Communication and Marketing Manager in executing campaigns and evaluating results for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Educated to degree level in communications, public relations, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a communications role with strong verbal and written skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and virtual collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Demonstrated creativity in communication strategies.
Desirable:
- Relevant professional qualifications (CIM, CAM, CIPR).
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign) and WordPress.
- Previous experience in NHS or healthcare communications.
