Key Requirements for the Civil Engineer Role
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following qualifications and experience criteria:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil engineering.
- Experience in the energy sector (e.g., nuclear, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, offshore).
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures and compliance with Eurocodes.
- Proficiency in ANSYS software for structural analysis.
- Right to work in the UK (Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates).

Your Role as a Civil Engineer at SEIMAF UK
As a Civil Engineer at SEIMAF UK, you will be part of a specialized team supporting civil design across multiple nuclear projects. You will collaborate with design teams, subject matter experts, and project managers to ensure high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and verify the input data for engineering projects.
- Modify and develop reinforced concrete structure designs to comply with ETC-C and other industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with client QA procedures in the design and development process.
- Work closely with designers to develop and review 3D models and drawings.
- Manage engineering changes according to company and industry procedures.
- Liaise with subject matter experts to resolve complex design challenges.
This role requires a strong focus on safety, nuclear standards, and project timelines, ensuring all designs meet the highest industry standards.
Required Software & Tools
To succeed in this role, proficiency in the following software tools is essential:
- Navisworks (for 3D model reviews and coordination).
- 3D CAD software for engineering design.
- Eurocodes compliance for structural design.
Candidates with hands-on experience in these tools will have a competitive advantage.
