Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Care Worker with Esteemed Life Care, your responsibilities will be central to delivering compassionate and life-enhancing services.
Providing Personal Care and Emotional Support
- Deliver respectful, dignified personal care such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as per prescribed care plans
- Offer consistent companionship and emotional reassurance to combat loneliness and promote mental wellness
- Encourage independence while supporting physical and emotional wellbeing
Maintaining a Safe and Comfortable Environment
- Perform household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Maintain a hygienic, organised, and welcoming home environment
- Respect each client’s personal habits, lifestyle, and autonomy
Community Involvement and Social Engagement
- Escort clients to essential appointments and enjoyable social outings
- Promote participation in community events, hobbies, and interests
- Facilitate mobility and outdoor engagement to enhance quality of life
Accurate Documentation and Communication
- Keep thorough, up-to-date records of all care activities
- Collaborate with family members and the care team to ensure consistent communication

Qualifications and Experience
- Ideally 1+ years of care experience, either professional or voluntary
- Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic understanding of safeguarding principles and health & safety protocols
- Previous training or certification in social care is a plus
Key Eligibility Requirements
- Full UK or international driving licence valid for at least 12 months
- Comfortable driving within the local area (100% travel expected)
- Must be available on weekends and flexible with shifts
- Residing in the UK with eligibility to switch to a Skilled Worker Visa
