Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Care Planning: Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document care activities and changes in client conditions using IT systems.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, social events, or other activities as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 1 year in home care or a similar role (preferred).
- Communication: Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Driving License: Required for client transportation.
- IT Skills: Familiarity with systems for documentation is advantageous.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for clients.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a range of shifts, including weekends.
