Key Responsibilities
Care Coordination
- Create and manage efficient care schedules to meet client needs.
- Match clients with appropriate carers based on their individual preferences and requirements.
- Handle shift adjustments, including sickness and holiday cover, to maintain seamless service delivery.
Client Liaison
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and their families, addressing concerns and providing updates.
- Conduct client assessments and regular reviews to ensure care plans are effective and up-to-date.
Team Support
- Supervise care staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular spot checks, appraisals, and training sessions to maintain workforce competence.
- Foster a positive working environment by supporting and motivating team members.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records of client care plans, staff schedules, and other essential documents.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the domiciliary care sector.
- Strong knowledge of care planning and scheduling systems.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to the care industry.
- A full UK driving license and access to a reliable car (essential).
- Flexibility to work additional hours and participate in the on-call rota when required.
