Key Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant at Lifted Care, your day-to-day duties will involve providing personal care and assisting with daily activities. Some of your primary tasks will include:
- Companionship & Personal Care: Build meaningful relationships with clients while assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Medication Support: Administer prescribed medications and assist clients with their medication routines.
- Mobility Assistance: Help clients with moving and handling tasks, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Eating & Drinking Assistance: Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
- Social & Emotional Support: Engage with clients to understand their passions and interests, supporting them in achieving their personal goals and encouraging independence.

Required Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, the following qualifications and skills are essential:
- Driving License: A car is required for this role, as you will need to travel between client homes.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 months of care experience is preferred but not essential. We are happy to train individuals who are new to the field.
- Weekend Availability: Availability for alternate weekends is required. If you are unable to commit to weekends, joining an on-call rota is an option.
- Smartphone Access: You must have a smartphone with access to data, as we use technology to assist with scheduling and communication.
- Strong Communication Skills: You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and the team.
- Passion for Care: A genuine desire to help others and improve the quality of life for those in need is essential.
