About the Role
CAREGIVERS LIMITED is seeking dedicated Care Assistants with a valid driving license to join our team. As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you’ll provide vital support to clients in their own homes, ensuring they live with dignity and independence. Key Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant/Driver, your role will involve:
- Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming to maintain clients’ personal hygiene.
- Mobility Support: Helping clients move around safely, including transfers and supporting with walking aids.
- Medication Assistance: Ensuring clients take their prescribed medications on time.
- Meal Preparation: Preparing and serving meals in line with clients’ dietary requirements and preferences.
- Light Housekeeping: Managing household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up.
- Companionship: Offering emotional support, and providing conversation and companionship to combat loneliness.
- Shopping & Errands: Helping with grocery shopping and running errands.
- Health Monitoring: Observing clients’ well-being and reporting any changes in their health status.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Valid Driving License with a clean driving record (essential for this role).
- Previous experience in domiciliary care is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and their families.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives.
- Flexible availability to work shifts that suit client needs, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care.
