Key Responsibilities

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant at Altogether Care, your role will be pivotal in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life. Key responsibilities include:

1. Supporting Clients in Their Own Homes
Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients in their own homes, ensuring they can live independently and comfortably. This involves providing personal care, companionship, and practical support tailored to each individual’s needs.

2. Assisting with Daily Living Tasks
You will help with daily living tasks such as mobility assistance, preparing meals, helping with appointments, and ensuring clients have everything they need for day-to-day activities.

Who We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Hold a Certificate of Sponsorship (Skilled Worker Visa)
You should already hold a valid Certificate of Sponsorship and be legally permitted to work in the UK under a Skilled Worker Visa.

2. Experience in Domiciliary Care
You must have substantial experience in domiciliary (home) care, ideally within the UK, to ensure you’re equipped to meet the needs of our clients effectively.

3. Full UK Driving Licence and Access to a Vehicle
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as the role involves traveling to clients’ homes across the community.

4. Availability for 37.5+ Hours per Week
You must be available to work at least 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required by client needs.

5. Understanding of CQC and Safeguarding
A good understanding of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements and safeguarding protocols is necessary to ensure the highest standard of care and safety for clients.

6. References & Good Conduct
To be considered for this role, you must be able to provide satisfactory references and evidence of good conduct from previous employers or organizations.
