Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and resolve automotive issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform essential maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
- Component Assembly: Use hand and power tools to assemble and disassemble vehicle parts.
- Reading Schematics: Interpret schematics to troubleshoot and understand vehicle systems accurately.
- Workshop Equipment Repairs: Conduct repairs on workshop tools and equipment as needed.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients about vehicle conditions and required repairs.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Keep a clean, organized workspace and follow safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across a variety of vehicle models.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Welding skills are beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent customer service and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects safely.
- Valid driving license (additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus).
