Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Dentist with our growing dental group, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and treatments to patients. Key duties include:
- Examine Patients: Assess the health of patients’ teeth and gums, diagnose dental issues.
- X-Rays & Diagnostics: Perform diagnostic X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
- Treatment Planning: Create personalized health-based treatment plans.
- Patient Education: Advise patients on oral hygiene, best practices, and preventative care.
- Restorative & Cosmetic Dentistry: Provide restorative treatments and cosmetic dental procedures.
- Prescribe Medications: Prescribe dental medication as needed.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure a safe and hygienic working environment for both patients and staff.
- Specialization Opportunities: If you have a specific area of expertise, specialized roles or responsibilities may be considered.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Dentistry Degree: Hold a valid degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution.
- GDC Registration: Be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) or be willing to register.
- Language Proficiency: Professional command of the English language (both oral and written). International applicants must meet the minimum Home Office standards for English proficiency.
- Flexible Availability: Open to both full-time and part-time opportunities.
- NHS Training: Willingness to undertake NHS training if applicable.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with colleagues and patients.
- Health Requirements: Complete health checks as required by the company.
