Job Overview

  • Position: Admin Assistant
  • Location: United Kingdom (Whipps Cross Hospital)
  • Job Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
  • Salary: £28,622 to £30,225 per annum (inclusive)

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Provide efficient administrative and clerical support to the Critical Care Department.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth departmental operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and data management systems.

Team Collaboration

  • Establish effective working relationships with internal departments and external providers.
  • Actively contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.

Service Improvement

  • Propose and implement changes to improve service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

Essential:

  • GCSEs or equivalent education, with strong literacy and numeracy skills.

Experience

  • Proficiency in IT systems (e.g., Microsoft Office).
    Desirable:
  • Experience with healthcare systems like Cerner or equivalent.
  • Background in customer service roles.

Skills

Essential:

  • Clear and effective communication with diverse individuals.

  • Data collection, reporting, and monitoring skills.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) operations.
