Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care during night shifts, ensuring the health and safety of all residents.
- Act as the lead nurse on shift, managing a team of carers and ensuring smooth operations.
- Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans in consultation with residents and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments in compliance with current policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with GPs, hospitals, external agencies, and internal staff to ensure holistic care.
- Ensure accurate documentation, care assessments, and shift handovers.
- Provide support and mentorship to junior staff and care assistants.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Registration
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Eligible for Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
Experience & Competencies
- Post-registration nursing experience in care home, hospital, or clinical settings
- Strong understanding of care compliance and CQC standards
- Proven leadership skills in team management and conflict resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication
