Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Floor Manager at Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, you will be responsible for:
Daily Shift Operations

Managing Housekeeping & Laundry Services: You’ll direct the day-to-day operations of housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring that all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas, meet our stringent cleanliness and maintenance standards.

Supervising Team Members: Oversee a dedicated team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. You’ll ensure each team member adheres to Marriott’s core values of hospitality, service, and excellence.

Conducting Inspections: Regularly inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to verify cleanliness and ensure maintenance is up to standard. Hold team members accountable for corrective actions when necessary.

Guest & Employee Satisfaction: The role involves managing both guest satisfaction and employee engagement. Your leadership will help foster an environment where both guests and team members feel valued, respected, and supported.

Effective Communication: Regular communication with other departments to ensure smooth operations across the hotel and quick resolution of any issues that may arise during daily operations.

Candidate Profile
Education and Experience
Essential:

High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related area, or

2-year Degree from an accredited university in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no prior work experience required).
Desirable:

Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.

Exposure to hotel management systems and software.
