Infytel Communications is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Manager to lead its security operations, ensuring the protection of sensitive information and compliance with industry standards. Job Overview

As a Cyber Security Manager, you will develop and implement security policies, manage risk assessments, respond to cyber threats, and lead a team of security professionals. You will work closely with IT and other departments to strengthen security defenses, mitigate cyber risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role requires expertise in cyber risk management, incident response, cloud security, and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.


Key Responsibilities

Cyber Security Strategy & Policy Development

  • Develop and enforce a comprehensive cyber security strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Create, review, and update security policies, standards, and procedures to comply with industry regulations.
  • Assess the effectiveness of security measures and recommend improvements to strengthen network security and data protection.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Conduct regular cyber risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to protect IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and sensitive data.
  • Ensure compliance with security regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

Incident Response & Threat Management

  • Lead the cyber incident response team in detecting, investigating, and mitigating security breaches.
  • Develop and execute incident response plans, ensuring timely recovery from cyber attacks.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews to refine security strategies and improve future response efforts.

Security Monitoring & Reporting

  • Oversee security monitoring tools to detect and respond to threats in real time.
  • Analyze security metrics and generate reports on cyber incidents, threat trends, and vulnerabilities.
  • Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, ransomware attacks, and hacking techniques to proactively safeguard the organization.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Manage and mentor the cyber security team, ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Conduct cyber security training for employees to promote security awareness and prevent phishing attacks.
  • Collaborate with HR to integrate security best practices into employee onboarding and training programs.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Incident Response Time: Speed of identifying and mitigating security threats.
  • Compliance Rate: Adherence to regulatory standards and security frameworks.
  • Risk Reduction: Effectiveness of security measures in reducing vulnerabilities.
  • Security Awareness: Employee participation in cyber security training.
  • Audit Results: Performance in external and internal security audits.

Skills & Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, or OSCP.

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years in cyber security management or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint security, and cloud security tools.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and incident response protocols.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and VPNs.
  • Knowledge of cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
  • Familiarity with ethical hacking techniques and cyber threat intelligence.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle security challenges.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical teams.
