Your Role as a Home Carer
As a Home Carer with Walnut Care, you will be an essential part of a compassionate team dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and assistance to clients in their homes
- Help with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene
- Offer companionship and emotional support, ensuring clients feel valued and engaged
- Monitor and document health conditions, reporting changes to healthcare professionals
- Implement care plans tailored to clients’ specific needs, including those with Alzheimer’s or dementia
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
Who We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and building relationships with clients
- Ability to commute/relocate to areas including Billinghay, Louth, Spilsby, Boston, and Skegness
- Basic English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Right to work in the UK
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Full UK driving license (preferred but not mandatory)
- Previous care experience is an advantage but not required—full training is provided
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Willingness to undergo driving competency training
