Scholarship Details
Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is dedicated to producing graduates who are well-versed in their areas of specialization, equipped with advanced research and communication skills, and capable of contributing positively to society. The scholarship program is open to new enrollees each academic semester, with selections based on departmental criteria beyond just CGPA.
Scholarship Types:
- PhD Programs: 100% and 50% scholarships available for international students and Turkish citizens.
- Master’s Programs: 50% scholarships available for international students; 100% and 50% scholarships for Turkish citizens.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Eastern Mediterranean University Postgraduate Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Performance:
- Minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) for undergraduate degree holders.
- CGPA between 2.75 – 2.99 (out of 4.00) with an ALES score of 65 or higher (for Turkish citizens).
- Minimum CGPA of 3.50 (out of 4.00) for Master’s degree holders.
- Scholarship Duration:
- Master’s Programs: 4 semesters.
- PhD Programs: 10 semesters.
Note: Scholarships are not available for students with special or visiting student status.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents for the Eastern Mediterranean University Scholarship:
- Transcript: Official transcript of all university-level (Bachelor/Master) courses taken.
- Diplomas: Attested photocopies of diplomas from a university or equivalent institutions.
- English Proficiency: Documentation of scores for English and academic proficiency exams/tests (if applicable).
- Reference Letters: Three letters of reference (not required for EMU graduates).
- Grant/Scholarship Details: Information on any grants or scholarships already awarded or applied for.
- Statement of Purpose: A detailed statement explaining your motivation and areas of interest.
- Passport: Photocopy of your passport or I.D. card.Photograph: Passport-sized photograph (approx. 6 cm x 5 cm).
- Program-Specific Documents: For Architecture (Ph.D. & Master): Portfolio and PhD proposal.
Application Process
