Program Overview
The Generative AI and Data Science Internship at FlexiSAF is crafted to develop future talents in artificial intelligence and data science. This intensive, self-paced program is split into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, covering essential skills in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI. Each level includes real-world projects, a structured curriculum, and mentorship from industry experts.
Note: This is an unpaid internship. Participants are expected to have a laptop and reliable internet access for full engagement.
Responsibilities
- Learn and apply data science and AI concepts through structured self-study.
- Collaborate with mentors and industry experts on real-life AI projects.
- Progress through tasks, projects, and hands-on assignments to solidify learning.
- For NYSC interns, there is an on-site requirement for advanced-level (Level 3) participants.
Requirements
- Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in Python and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Backend Development: Basic understanding of backend technologies, including Python, Java, Node.js, and frameworks like Flask or Django.
- AI Concepts: Familiarity with machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, NLP, and data modeling.
- Data Analysis: Skills in data manipulation and visualization with tools like Google Data Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Portfolio Advantage: Having a portfolio or demonstrable projects in AI is beneficial for Advanced (Level 3) applicants.
Additional Note: NYSC candidates applying for Level 3 will undergo further assessment and work with Product Teams during their service year. Application Deadline: December 2, 2024
